"There are two ways to be fooled. One is to believe what isn't true; the other is to refuse to believe what is true." Soren Kierkegaard, 1813-1855.
Do your research. Who is being sued, and why? Any amenity package (eg. lagoon, fountain, trolley) is never meant to be "sustainable." The value of any amenity package is what it brings to surrounding real estate values (including all of Rowlett), not potential admission fees. If you live in a subdivision that has an HOA pool, the intrinsic value of the pool is reflected in the prorata value to your house, not the pool. Remove the pool, and the value of the house drops by a prorata amount.
Remove Bayside's lagoon, fountain, and trolley, and the value of surrounding real estate drops. Put an Amazon facility in New York, and real estate values go up. Do not build the Amazon facility, and nearly everyone in New York is mad. The far lefties have no idea why, or what happened.
