I have caught a little, very unusual, heat for comparing Rowlett to Viet Nam. I reread my post. I didn't compare Rowlett to Viet Nam. I compared ignorant politicians of the Viet Nam era with ignorant politicians that could lead Rowlett. I also set out how lazy people trying to appear "informed" created the wrong characterization of what was needed to accomplish a project. The job of getting good leadership falls on you. If you get lazy, you'll get the same ignorant leadership that was exemplified during the Viet Nam war. The key words are "ignorant leadership." Nothing good ever comes from uninformed leadership. I don't care how pretty they are. As a matter of fact, wars have even been fought because of such incompetent selections.
I'm not going to rewrite the post. It stands as it is.
