Now, along comes Bayside and all it's turmoil. The land owners of Bayside are combating a law suit from the City of Rowlett. Among their tools used to combat Rowlett are billboards, four color expensive mail-outs, fake phone surveys, and websites. It's a full blown, expensive PR effort.
Now appearing is a series of Facebook strings that have whole-hearten support for the opinions of the Bayside land owners. This land owner support is rare and comes from bizarre opinions, not facts. Of course, everyone has a right to an opinion, however most of the time, reasons are cited to support that opinion. In the referenced Facebook strings, no reasons are given for the opposing opinion........just support for the land owner's position. In fact, blatantly supportive.
Sure makes me wonder if some of the Facebookers are "hired hands." It would be a logical addition to the PR campaign. I'll listen to anyone that has an opinion based on facts or experience, but won't spend much effort listening to unsupported rhetoric of fiction. If some of these stories are to be believed, Rowlett shouldn't waste their time trying to improve their city. It may have already been done somewhere else, therefore wouldn't work. Absolutely brilliant real estate analysis.
