Attached you will find the requested maps that show the coverage that will be obtained once the new radio tower is in place. The first map shows that the desired 20 dB in buildings is accomplished by placing the tower at the Schrade Rd. location. It will provide coverage on the east side of the city that is needed for the safety of our citizens and public safety officials.
Page 2 shows the coverage for mobile radios. As you will see, with the additional tower site adequate coverage is achieved. Please note, page 3 indicates coverage without the tower in Rowlett. On that map the reddish color represents only 20dB coverage and the blue is only 10dB coverage. This scenario has the highest potential of putting the safety of our citizens and public safety officers at risk. Page 4 details the nine site plan, which like the map on page 1 will provide the coverage needed to support public safety response.
I hope this explanation will help provide you and your readers the information needed to make an informed decision.
