PS On another topic, I have access to some of the info on the Garland shooting
you probably don't have. Interestingly enough that was a 60 year old 30 year veteran
cop that went to war with these guys. He confronted them at 20 yards with a Glock 21 .45 cal and instead of retreating approached them steadily firing.
He took down the 1st guy within first 4 to 5 rounds and went to work on other as he had closed to within 8 to 10 yards. He was textbook, reloaded with one round still in chamber and finished off the 2nd guy with 2 to 3 more rounds. Word is the 2nd guy threw his gun down after a malfunction but cop decided it wasn't quite even just yet and hit him with another couple of rounds. I hope that doesn't get controversial but that old saying "it isn't over until it's over" should certainly apply to this situation.
The moral of the story is—don't screw with old men who know how to shoot.
