This morning it was announced that Plano was getting another huge insurance office development. Liberty Mutual has announced the construction of a home office in Plano, at highway 121 along the tollway. This new development will add another 4,000 jobs. I haven't even written about the new Fed Ex facility, and it's up there, too.
I am in the process of writing a lengthy new post about Rowlett's preparation of all the new activity in Plano. Rowlett is becoming a satellite of Plano.......not Dallas.
You don't want to miss the up coming post. It throws Rowlett into a national tug of war. It is not working out well for Rowlett. Oh, we'll do okay, but if we continue on the track we're now on, we'll achieve nothing close to what we could do.
