Some of the experts will be invited to attend. There are two that I hope can participate. One is a fellow in Austin who has an HFC organization covering nine counties. The other would be an attorney who specializes in HFC's I have talked to both extensively.
I would guess from what I've been told that the council work session will be on the docket within the month. If all goes well, the HFC will be fully vetted and I am comfortable that the discussion will move forward to an acceptable conclusion.
Rowlett needs the Housing Finance Corporation. To have this opportunity and let it get away can only be pure incompetence, brought on by special interests.
Stay posted.
